Our Work in Burkina Faso, Africa.

Posted by brian . Filed under Engage Atlanta, West Ridge Church |

Today I had the opportunity to sit down with our missionary in Burkina Faso, Africa, Pete Brokup, and get a report on how things are going on the ground. Many of you had the chance to hear Pete share yesterday at West Ridge.

I’m so excited to report that in the last year and half we have:
* Provided the funds to have 26 wells dug in Burkina villages.
* Built 7 churches.
* Purchased a motorcycle for the man who is overseeing our well projects.
* Sponsored over 125 children through Compassion International. I can’t wait to meet my 9 year-old African daughter, Fatimata (the girl my family sponsors), in January.

Pete told us that as a result of our efforts, several hundred people have come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

I love Burkina Faso and the work that God is allowing us to do there. I will be taking another team of pastors back there in January. Thanks to the West Ridge faithful and those who have provided funds through Engage Atlanta, for supporting our efforts to change a country one life at a time.
