Messy Little Christmas
This Sunday at West Ridge Church is going to be messy. I don’t want to give anything away, but my visual Sunday should be very interesting. You don’t want to miss it!
I hope you’ll join us for week #2 of this series – Messy Little Christmas. Last week, we talked about Genesis 3 and the mess that we find ourselves in because of the sin of Adam and Eve. We also discussed the fact, that because Jesus came to Earth to save mankind from sin, God now offers us forgiveness and a second chance.
This Sunday were going to take this thought of messiness to another level. Even though as children of God we are now called Saints, we still deal with a messy, old sin nature. How can we live victorious in this Christmas season through all of that messiness?
This Sunday we also take our annual Gift Offering. The majority of this year’s offering will go to send Chris and Connie Feilds (and their 5 children) to Burkina Faso, Africa to serve as our missionaries for two years.
